How do I install IslaTodo on my phone?

Open islatodo.com in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android). Tap the share/menu icon, then tap "Add to Home Screen." That installs the IslaTodo app icon on your phone β€” no app store needed. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.

How do I enable safety alerts?

After installing the app from your home screen, open it and tap "Allow" when it asks for notification permission. Then tap "Allow" when it asks for location permission. Both are required for tsunami / hurricane / earthquake alerts to find you and reach you. Without notifications enabled, you won't receive alerts.

How do I list my business on IslaTodo?

Visit islatodo.com/list-your-business if you operate a restaurant, bar, cafΓ©, hotel, water sports operator, or tour. For service professionals (chef, massage, photographer, cleaner, taxi driver), visit islatodo.com/list-your-service. Approval typically within 24 hours.

How do I report a fake review or vendor?

If you're a vendor: open the IslaTodo Vendor App β†’ Reviews tab β†’ tap "Dispute" on any unfair review. Admins review every dispute within 48 hours.

If you're a tourist who spotted a fake business listing: email [email protected] with the listing URL and the issue.

How do I delete my account / data?

Email [email protected] from the address tied to your account, with subject "Account Deletion Request." We delete all personal data within 7 business days and send you confirmation.

Is IslaTodo free?

Yes β€” completely free for tourists and travelers. We charge vendors a small percentage of completed bookings; tourists never pay IslaTodo a cent. The safety alert system is and always will be free for all users.

How do I become a verified safety alert authority?

For mayors' offices, hotel emergency coordinators, property managers, or government agencies: email [email protected] with your role, jurisdiction, and the geographic area you'd issue alerts for. We onboard verified authorities into our multi-tenant system with role-scoped permissions.

Can I subscribe to your CAP feed for my own system?
